There are days when we do not feel very brave to face the world. Everything that we see, feels too scary, too loud, too big, too hard, too impossible to believe. Our days may appear too full of things we do not want to do. We feel alone. “Too much too much” our nervous system cries out for relief. We then feel too small, too tired, not enough, ill equipped to handle anything and so we shrink instead of expanding. We falter instead of succeeding, we gravitate instead of radiating.
These are the days that we are invited to find the courage within. To find the light within that may appear to be just a spark but can be encouraged to become a raging flame. How can we do this? Close our eyes, breathe and feel that light within. See it shining in the dark. Feel its safety, warmth and strength. Imagine it expanding upwards and sideways, let it grow. Holding that image in our mind, and feel the warmth extending from head to toe, filling any part of the body that is sensed as empty. Fingers, toes, tip of the head, the heart, the organs, the bones, the muscles, everywhere, LET the light flow freely.
When the light has completely been embraced, then think about something that you love to do, love to go, love to be, or even someone you love, or even someone who loves you. Let that light shine into every cell and radiate through every pour of the body.
Now no matter how loud, how hard, how much you struggle, KNOW that you ARE the embodiment of LOVE in human form, and things will be alright no matter what. Feel that certainty and presence. Become inspired and enthused to DO what you love, BE what you love, HAVE what you love, DREAM the impossible , ENVISION the big and make it all MANIFEST with love and gratitude.
Just as a baby bird leaps out of the nest for the first time with faith and trust, or the caterpillar abandons its physical form in the certainty that it will become more and be able to fly, we each asked to become brave and fill ourselves up with love in order to first become that love that we wish to offer and receive.
Remember YOU ARE LOVE.
